Digital literacy enables up-to-date sleep medicine in inclusive healthcare

Project eSleep_dHealth will transform 3 European universities into drivers of social innovations in the field of digital healthcare and digital sleep medicine. Students will engage in the co-design of social innovation interventions with the elderly population, a vulnerable group that is lagging behind in benefiting from the rapid development of digital medicine. For this, we need to increase the digital literacy of the vulnerable group to achieve true co-creation of social innovation.

Razvoj poduzetničkog akceleratora za tehnologije u zdravstvu

Projekt „Razvoj poduzetničkog akceleratora za tehnologije u zdravstvu“ usmjeren je na pitanje nedovoljne povezanosti zdravstvenog i IT sektora, uvodeći sektorski specifične usluge njihova poslovnog umrežavanja te izgrađujući poduzetničke kapacitete, znanja i vještine MSP-ova IT sektora u području razvoja inovativnih rješenja u zdravstvu. Projektne aktivnosti uključuju provedbu tromjesečnoga akceleratorskog programa, organizaciju Demo dana te pružanje savjetodavne, infrastrukturne i mentorske podrške MSP-ovima i odabranim startup timovima, te na taj način pridonosi premošćivanju jaza između tih dvaju sektora, razvoju inovativnih usluga i proizvoda te povoljnijem okruženju za razvoj IT poduzetništva.

Mreža poduzetničkih potpornih institucija – Mreža BOND

Član smo mreže poduzetničkih potpornih institucija – Mreže BOND. Mreža BOND predstavlja platformu za sveukupni razvoj kapaciteta i kvalitete usluga poduzetničkih potpornih institucija (PPI-jeva), a poduzetnicima pruža objedinjeni pristup poslovnim znanjima, vještinama, partnerima, informacijama i uslugama važnima za pokretanje i razvoj poslovanja. Nastala je kao rezultat provođenja aktivnosti u okviru projekta Razvoj mreže poduzetničkih potpornih institucija te trenutačno okuplja 57 članica – razvojnih agencija, poduzetničkih centara, poslovnih inkubatora, poduzetničkih akceleratora, znanstveno-tehnologijskih parkova i centara kompetencija.

The EIT Health Drive programme equips participants with essential skills for health and life sciences innovation, offering access to leading European entrepreneurship ecosystems and facilitating collaboration with diverse stakeholders. It customizes acceleration to regional needs, enhancing technology transfer and health innovation. Building on this, the NetHub Catalyst programme provides nine months of personalized mentorship, connecting participants with experienced mentors to transform research ideas into successful businesses. This initiative fosters the creation of new health technologies, aiming to address unmet medical needs and improve patient outcomes.

Cross-Border HealthTech Venture Builder

The Cross-Border HealthTech Venture Builder project aims to strengthen healthcare innovation in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro by designing a cross-border Venture Building programme. It will connect MedTech companies and healthcare providers to co-develop new solutions, initially focusing on orthopedics and later expanding to other areas.

The INVITE project will drive advancements in digital healthcare education and foster social innovation across Europe. Supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, this initiative is focused on increasing digital skills and healthcare competencies among teachers and students in vocational medical schools. By empowering these institutions, INVITE aims to address healthcare disparities and strengthen community support for vulnerable populations.

EU4MEDTECH

EU4MEDTECH (European Framework for Advanced Medical Technology Evaluation and Follow-up) is a Horizon Europe project dedicated to strengthening how high-risk and innovative medical devices, in vitro diagnostic devices are evaluated and regulated across Europe. The project is developing the EU4MEDTECH Framework, a lifecycle-based approach to clinical and performance evidence generation, evaluation, and validation, supported by a digital platform designed to provide user-friendly tools for relevant stakeholders and streamline regulatory processes across pre-market and post-market stages.

UNCAN-Connect

The UNCAN-Connect project (Decentralized Collaborative Network for Advancing Cancer Research and Innovation) is developing a decentralised, secure and interoperable ecosystem for accessing and reusing cancer data across Europe. This Horizon Europe project is building an open-source UNCAN.eu platform and validating it through six major cancer use cases: paediatric, lymphoid, pancreatic, ovarian, lung and prostate cancers. By enabling better data integration and cross-sector collaboration, UNCAN-Connect supports the EU Cancer Mission’s goal of improving outcomes for patients.

SPIN

NetHub je partner na projektu Istraživanje i razvoj mikroenkapsulirane peludi za modulaciju mikrobiote tankog crijeva zadužen za validaciju ideje i izradu studije izvedivosti. Projekt razvija mikroenkapsuliranu pelud bušinca, inovativni dodatak prehrani koji cilja na ublažavanje simptoma sindroma prekomjernog bakterijskog prerastanja u tankom crijevu (SIBO) i sindroma iritabilnog crijeva (IBS). Primjenom napredne tehnologije mikroenkapsulacije osigurava se stabilnost i ciljano otpuštanje bioaktivnih tvari, što omogućava veću učinkovitost u odnosu na probiotike i prebiotike. Ova disruptivna inovacija doprinosi razvoju personalizirane medicine i jačanju zdravstvenog inovacijskog ekosustava u Jadranskoj Hrvatskoj.

British Embassy

The Adriatic Croatia-UK Healthtech project connects key healthcare stakeholders from Croatia and the UK to strengthen collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and support the commercialization of healthcare innovations. Through activities like the Adria HealthTech Conference, the project fosters cross-border dialogue and partnerships, aiming to bridge gaps between academia, industry, and healthcare providers. The conference brings together diverse stakeholders to create opportunities for networking, spark new collaborations, and showcase innovative healthcare solutions. Additionally, matchmaking between research groups and SMEs from both countries will support the formation of consortia for Horizon Europe applications, with at least seven new collaborative proposals expected to emerge from these connections.
